Implant

Implant

Dental implant is a small titanium post or screw that is surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as a replacement for the root of a missing tooth.

Procedure

The dentist evaluates your oral health and creates a treatment plan.

A titanium post is surgically placed into the jawbone, followed by a healing period for osseointegration (3-6 months).

Once the implant fuses with the bone, a connector (abutment) is placed.

After healing, a custom crown is attached to the abutment, completing the implant.

The whole process takes a few months, with follow-up visits to ensure proper healing and function."

Benefits

Improved appearance, enhanced functionality, better speech, preservation of jawbone health, and long-term durability, making them a highly effective solution for replacing missing teeth.

Side Effects

As with any surgical procedure, there are risks, including infection, nerve damage, implant failure, or complications with healing. However, the success rate for dental implants is generally high, especially when performed by an experienced specialist.
