Hair GFC

Hair GFC

Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC) therapy is a non-invasive hair treatment that uses a patient's blood to stimulate hair growth and repair.

A medical professional draws blood from the patient, processes it, and separates out the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The PRP is then refined to create a concentrated solution of growth factors. These growth factors are injected into the scalp to stimulate hair follicles and promote hair growth.

Procedure

The GFC treatment procedure typically involves the following steps:
- A blood sample is collected
- The blood is processed to activate the platelets
- The GFCs are separated and collected using syringes
- The GFCs are injected into the scalp

Typically, 2 to 6 sessions are required to get the best results.

Benefits

GFC stimulates hair growth and can reverse the early stages of androgenetic alopecia and can improve hair thickness and volume, resulting in fuller, healthier-looking hair.

GFC is a minimally invasive procedure with little to no downtime and also can produce results in fewer sessions than other treatments.

Side Effects

Local and temporary pain at the injection sites, infection, decreased shedding, temporary swelling, discomfort, bruising, and redness.
